Needing a bike for a weekend ride?....We offer two bikes styles (Aluminum or Carbon) in a variety of sizes from 43cm-60cm, complete with a compact crank, bottle cage and tool bag. Helmets and locks available for $5 per rental, please ask when making your reservation. Call us for more details.

About Us

Greetings,

    My name is Brent Engstrom and I am the proud owner of Veloce Bicycles. I grew up in the Portland area and there is no other place that compares to what Portland can offer for this lifestyle. I have many years of experience managing a bike shop in Beaverton and have always dreamed of owning my own store. So when this opportunity presented itself I jumped at it.  I am passionate about all aspects of cycling whether it is road riding or mountain biking.

    In 2003 Demetri Macrigeanis opened Veloce with the vision of an “old world Italian” neighborhood bicycle shop that focused on superior products and a high level of customer service.  In October 2010 the torch was passed on to me and I am honored to take on this legacy.  I share in his vision in providing excellent customer service with an atmosphere that is friendly and inviting.

    I am also very honored that Skip Worthington chose to come with me.  Skip has over 25 years of experience as a mechanic in the Portland area.    I believe that with our combined knowledge and experience we are able to offer a level of service that is unsurpassed. Whether you are looking for complete custom bike build or just a quick adjustment we offer a full range of products and services.  Come by and see us for all of you cycling needs.

    Plans for the future:  What is the saying “When it ain’t broke don’t fix it”.  We plan on keeping many of the great aspects of Veloce but will also like to bring in some new additions in the future (keep posted).
